Abstract: DIGITSME leverages Industry 4.0 by digitizing human-involved activities on the shop floor through AI-based video analytics, addressing a gap where valuable data on manual operations is often lost. Traditional AI solutions for this purpose are not feasible for SMEs due to extensive training processes and hardware demands. 

DIGITSME offers a plug-and-play, no hardware solution with an easy-to-use, no-code platform (Khenda Platform) that simplifies AI training and application. It enables SMEs to gather and analyze data on manual operations, improving supply chain management, scheduling, and decision support systems. The platform uses cameras for data acquisition, cloud computing for AI training and processing, and provides detailed engineering tools and visualizations to enhance manufacturing process models. DIGITSME’s innovative approach, requiring no special hardware, makes AI-based video analytics accessible to SMEs, particularly in sectors with significant human-led assembly processes. The system is at Technology Readiness Level 8 and ready for commercial deployment.
