And the winners are...
MIND4MACHINES (M4M) after a tough evaluation, we are glad to share the winning Projects of MIND4MACHINES Open Call 2 (OC2).
Winners of the Open Call 2
Slide 1: Innovation support , Slide 2: Go-to-market support
The MIND4MACHINES project launched the Open Call 2 targeting the digitalization of the manufacturing industry. The call aimed to fund the development, testing, validation, and market uptake of Industry 4.0 solutions by technology provider SMEs and startups. Proposals involving collaborations between technology providers and industry partners were encouraged, with the industry partners acting as end-users of the proposed solutions.
The call was open to SMEs and startups planning to develop innovative solutions for cross-sectoral and cross-border value chains. The MIND4MACHINES Consortium received 143 proposals and selected 20 projects for funding, providing grants ranging from €30K to €120K. The total funding allocated to SMEs amounted to €1.548.160
The selection process involved a thorough evaluation, including an assessment of admissibility and eligibility criteria followed by the technical evaluation process involving 30 experts in total. Applicants whose proposals could not be funded in this second call will have the opportunity to be part of our accelerator programme and be aware about other funding opportunities in Europa.
The Call included two financing schemes targeting different Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs):
I. Innovation Support – Testing and validating Industry 4.0 solutions [TRL 4-7]
II. Go-to-Market Support – Demonstrating and scaling innovative solutions [TRL 8-9]
Out of the 143 applications received for these schemes, 20 projects were selected for funding. These projects involve 29 SMEs from the ICT sector and 20 from the manufacturing sector, representing 13 European countries.
The MIND4MACHINES Consortium expresses gratitude to all the applicants and invites them to stay connected for updates on the Accelerator Programme.
Congratulations to all the winners!
