Abstract: Energy Management System (EnMS) solutions are essential for industrial plants to ensure energy efficiency and planning, especially amid energy supply shortages and price volatility that threaten financial stability and operations. Managing EnMS is complex due to its involvement with multiple plant departments and the need for extensive communication and coordination. Additionally, interpreting energy-related big data from various sources poses significant challenges.

The Intel50001 software addresses these issues by processing and analyzing diverse data, linking departmental energy operations, and guiding staff on efficiency measures based on consumption estimates and actual usage, in compliance with ISO50001 standards. Developed with TUBITAK funding, the software has demonstrated its capability in operational environments, automatically identifying energy drivers, estimating consumption, and diagnosing deviations. The Mind4Machines project enabled full integration of Intel50001 in Eczacıbaşı Holding’s ESAN Mining Industry Plants, achieving TRL 9 validation. The software is now proven effective for implementing and auditing EnMS in manufacturing industries.
